Cream Candy Handwoven Basket

This beautiful basket is handwoven by women artisans in Ngaye, Senegal out of millet grass and thin strips of recycled plastic which are used to create these stunning and colourful design patterns. All baskets are so well made and will last you many years while still maintaining their beauty. A great item to use as a fruit tray or to keep make up and accessories.

Basket weaving is one of the most common artisan crafts in Senegal which provides a sustainable source of income to the women weavers and their communities.

Please note that because these baskets are hand made, no two are ever exactly the same and colour, size and pattern may vary slightly from piece to piece.
