Dark Brown Tuareg Leather Box

Our handmade leather boxes are from Mali, made my Tuareg craftsmen of Mali. The Tuareg are Berber people with a traditionally nomadic lifestyle. They are the principal inhabitants of the extensive region of  Sahara Desert. Handcrafted leather covered boxes are a traditional Tuareg craft, which features an art form called TRIK.

Intricately hand tooled with tribal designs, these boxes are all entirely covered in leather over a wood base. Ideal for storing jewellery or small accessories. This exquisite box is finished off with a hand rubbed colour dye and are a perfect gift to loved ones!

Being that these boxes are entirely hand made, no two boxes are the exactly the same although designs in our selection are all almost exactly the same.
